Lynn Silverman

A native Texan, Lynn Silverman holds a bachelor’s degree in Education from UT Austin and a master’s degree in Occupational Technology (Training and Development) from University of Houston College of Technology. Upon earning her master’s degree, Lynn became an instructional design and technical communications consultant. Since then, she has acted as an individual contributor and team member on many long-term technical training and knowledge management projects at numerous international energy companies, including ExxonMobil Development Company, ExxonMobil Chemical, Shell Oil Products, Chevron USA, among others.

In addition, for many years, Lynn acted as a consultant to numerous departments at Houston’s own renowned Rice University. During this period, Lynn developed technical career training for administrators, documented and flowcharted processes for government audits, and assisted the Facilities Department in preparing for LEED certification.

In response to the question of what sets Lynn apart from other instructional designers, numerous clients have complimented her on her commitment to providing cost-effective, results-oriented design and development services and her honest feedback about the best media for use in presentations and training in multiple locations. She has used engaging techniques to facilitate immediate and sustainable retention when working with clients. She listens to her clients and gets great results.

Lynn also serves as a writing and communications coach to individuals of all ages. Her interests include photography, travel, reading, baking and spending time with her family and friends.

Mariam Haddad

Mariam Haddad specializes in spoken communication effectiveness by focusing on Accent Neutralization, Vocal Production, and Effective Presentation. She coaches and trains clients from all over the world by helping them neutralize foreign and regional accents and speak English clearly. She is the author and developer of the highly successful “Say It with Power!” program. In this program, she utilizes the same tools used on a daily basis in her career as an opera singer, classical pianist and teacher in “Say It with Power!” This program provides a fun pathway for companies to empower valued employees from diverse cultural backgrounds to:

• Increase their ability to be understood in conversations, meetings and presentations

• Significantly reduce accents and improve pronunciation;

• Articulate with more clarity in conversation, meetings and presentations;

• Integrate and utilize the skills learned for real world communications;
  Deliver a presentation with polish, poise and power.

She has successfully used her methodology in seminar settings as well as in one-on-one training sessions. Private vocal clients have placed in the finals of national and international competitions as well as have been voted best presenter at an industry conference.
